This year is coming in hottttt

2022

It’s not even Feb yet and there is so much to share! I wanted to compile all the offerings currently in the works into one comprehensive list so if you are wanting you can begin penciling us into your heads, your hearts, and your calendars!

Here is what we have on the books so far:

Downdogs and Daydreams – A Yoga & Visionboard Workshop

What: A Yoga & Visionboard Workshop
When: Friday, January 28, 2022
Where: Mystic Yoga (Mentor, OH)
Cost: $30
To reserve your spot: https://www.mysticyogatribe.com/yogaworkshops-events

What do you see for your future? Is it a specific place you want to visit (Paris please!), a goal you hope to accomplish (publish a piece of poetry), a general feeling you want to arrive at (I’ll take an order of ease with a side of passion). All of the above?

This workshop makes the abstract tangible by getting those places, people, ideas, and emotions committed to paper. As you will learn in the session, such recording actually makes you more likely to achieve whatever it is you set out to do.

After we spend some time getting centered on our mats, we will shift our energy to creating art that reflects our deepest desires.

All supplies provided. Please pre-register. No previous yoga or art experience required.

Kintsugi Workshop

What: Kintsugi Workshop
Where: The Yoga Room Cleveland
When: Sunday, Feb. 20th, 2022
Cost: $45
Early-bird pricing until Feb 1: $30
To reserve your spot: Venmo Kristina (@Kristina-Ambrosia-Conn) or Jen (@JenEzell)

Honoring our human flaws. Mending our mashed up pieces. Showcasing our imperfections. This is the magic of Kintsugi. In this workshop, we will explore our own fault-lines – places in our lives where we have felt displaced, disjointed, fractured. Then we will discover through the ancient Japanese practice of Kintsugi (mending shattered pottery with gold), the beauty of integration. We will experience how empowering it can be to revere, rather than discard the “broken” bits of ourselves. All supplies included. No previous art experience needed.

Event will be held at the Yoga Room Cleveland in Little Italy. Diane Williams will be teaching Yoga Basics from 11-12. We would love to flow with before the workshop.

Rooted Retreat (3rd and Last)

What: Rooted – The Retreat
Where: The John Allen House, Xenia, OH (near Yellow Springs)
When: Friday-Sunday, June 24-26, 2022
Cost: $700 per person
To reserve your spot: Visit our landing page to book.

Our garden is growing!

Last year’s gardens had such beautiful blooms that Jen and I decided to plant again! Join us for our third (and last) Rooted Retreat. We have room for 10 seedlings.

During this special weekend together, we will take time to dig deep, explore our root system, consider what might help us grow, and appreciate what it feels like to bloom – to open up to the great beauty that exists in just being us! We will do this through sacred ceremony, physical movement, workshops, time spent learning from Mother Gaia, and devoted down time to integrate and process.

Root down to rise up.

That’s our mantra for the weekend!

Investment Includes: Accommodations (please note that rooms will be shared), 3 days of programming, snacks, most meals, the opportunity for new friendships, the chance to make life-long memories, and the space to nurture your spirit.

Any questions, just ask!

Fairytale Retreat

What: Fairytale Retreat
Where: The Inn on Mexican War Streets, Pittsburgh, PA
When: Friday-Sunday, July 8-10
Cost: $863 per person
To reserve your spot: Visiting our landing page to book.

Once upon a time, creativity was a way of life -but big cities and small thoughts got in the way. Now it’s time to recreate your own happily ever after.

Ready to use creativity, spirituality, and positive psychology to create new life paths and connections with self and others?

Join the Fairytale Retreat hosted by Kristina Ambrosia & Ashley Keene. We are teachers who can open your mind to the magic of possibility and align you with opportunities to connect with other seeking souls. We’ve taken everything we’ve learned from working and consulting with best-selling authors, artists, educators, and publications, and funneled them into this retreat experience.

While on this journey, you’ll learn what it means to feel into your true creative expression and gain the skills to return to this place within you over and over again. The passageway to new perceptions happens through physical embodiment, astrology, creative thinking, shadow work, talisman making, meditation, and more.

This retreat is about exploring what the world could be like if we each felt innately connected to who we really are and free to express it, knowing that every part of each of us has value. The full Fairytale Retreat package includes two nights of accommodations with all meals included.

A Course in Miracles

What: A Course in Miracles
Where: Online
When: January 31- Through Next Year (16-18 months – don’t panic; keep reading).
Cost: Free
To reserve your spot: Contact Sandra Wint on FB or talk to me and I’ll put you in touch.

I am not facilitating this one, but I am joining as a participant and so excited to be reconnecting with my friend Sandra for A Course in Miracles. I first met Sandra in a transformative Women’s Circle facilitated by Chris Keller who co-founded Circle of Renewal and felt an instant draw to her (and the red lipstick I now religiously buy from her). I’m very much looking forward to spending time with her once again.

Here’s the down and dirty on what she is offering (come when you want, read what you want, and participate how you choose). You can pop in, pop out, pop back in again and that is NOT a problem. There is no obligation to attend, to complete the activities, or even to buy the book. The structure of the course is outlined below:

Meeting Logistics:

The first meeting will be January 31, 2022 and meetings will be held daily Monday – Saturday from 7am – 7:30am EST.

The format of the daily call is:
– 2 min grounding
– Sandra reads the day’s lesson
– Approx 15 – 20 min meditation
– 1 min closing

The meeting will only last 30 min so the length of the meditation depends only on the length of time it takes to do the day’s reading. Some readings are longer than others. Shorter readings will be read through twice. Longer readings, we’ll only read through once. These calls will be recorded so participants can listen at their convenience.

Once weekly, there will be a community call (not recorded) on that week’s lessons. The focus will be whatever the group wants to share and any thoughts about the content of the course. The format for the community call will be circle. This call will be about sharing and honoring our experiences without judgment and without “solution-ing” or fixing The proposed time for the community call is Sundays at 4pm for 60 – 90 min. The length of the call will be directly proportional to the number of participants but not intended to exceed 90 min (ideally 60 or less).

I actually have no idea what I am getting into, but this book has been on my to read list for years – since my noble friend Jennifer Dacar worked it. Sandra’s offering was the nudge I needed to finally order the text. It is quite the commitment on her part to make herself available to us for such a length of time and at no cost and I, for one, am beyond grateful.
